Making a Change
Since 1994 Worth Resolving Youth & Family Services has served Calgary and Area providing a variety of services to families engaged with Children Services. Our goal through out the years has been and continues to be, ensuring we adapt to an ever changing climate, meet clients where they are at, and provide the best services possible.
At the Core
We believe in the importance of maintaining connections within the family and our client’s larger community in order to enhance the self-worth and dignity of each individual and to promote healing of childhood neglect, abuse and trauma.
Our guiding principle is to use trauma informed and strength-based approaches while recognizing that clients are the experts of their own lives.
By providing programming that is individualized and specific to
each client’s needs we are able to deliver services that are both holistic family and and healing in nature.
Our Belief
Our belief is that all people "do the best they can with what they know and have” and this means that occasionally people require the resources and supports to improve their personal and familial levels of functioning.
Achieve equilibrium in all programming:
- Access balanced with safety
- Supervision balanced with independence
- Crisis intervention balanced with client mastery, and,
- The promotion of values based on honesty, integrity, and compassion
