Crisis intervention

 Crisis Intervention workers offer support to children, youth, and families that may not otherwise have support available. The type of support is based on the current need of the client.

 Crisis Intervention workers provide direct care for children and youth. This care can be provided in a variety of locations dependent on current circumstances and need.

 Crisis Intervention workers may engage children and youth in activities outside of the placement or home to promote community involvement, and support engagement in new activities that they otherwise would not have access to.
