Our Transportation Service provides children, youth and, families access to transportation for a variety of reasons including the facilitation of access, attendance at school or appointments, involvement in recreational activities, etc. We ensure that children, youth and families have access to one another and to opportunities which increase their level of familial and personal functioning.
Safety is our number one priority. This means that each Transportation Facilitator is required to have an excellent driving record, insurance, registration, and valid license on their file, which is updated at predetermined intervals.
Transportation Facilitators ensure that all clients are comfortable and seated using approved and appropriate seating in accordance with The Alberta Ministry of Transportation guidelines and standards.
Drivers are required to arrive in a timely fashion, ensure the cleanliness of their vehicle, and maintain the mutual respect between drivers and clients. If circumstances out of the drivers control occur (Weather, accidents, etc.) clients will be notified immediately.
